Your Bio

Photography is an art that allows us to see things in the present moment and to view with vitality the wonder and sorrow that surrounds as us we journey though the world. In making images we recreate a world that recaptures and awakens what was seen when the shutter opened.

Seeing photographically requires observation with a clear eye and an open mind. A photographer must also view a subject tactically, taking into account composition, exposure, color and the like. Balance between subjectivity and objectivity is what makes a photograph successful, or not.

I have been making photographs since I was ten years old. My father was a passionate photographer and inspired me with his enthusiasm. It was his influence that set me on my path as a visual artist.
